Autumn Ginkos

Autumn is late and short in Southern California. One of the only ways to tell that it IS autumn is to catch the leaves changing.
And Ginko trees are amongst the few deciduous trees we have.

Wildrose to Lee Flat

One valley to the west of Death Valley lies the Panamint Valley. One of the routes through from one to the other goes by way of an old mining town, Wildrose.

Still playing with still lives. I've had these dried artchokes lying around for years.
I really liked the texture and color of the veggies and that old sheet of rusty steel offered a nice textured background.
